West of Ireland
Discover the world of amateur radio with EI3011, a station transmitting from the stunning landscapes of the West of Ireland.
About EI3011
I'm a ham radio operator, fascinated by the magic of connecting with people across the globe through radio waves. My call sign is EI3011, and I'm based in the West of Ireland. My journey into this hobby began with a childhood fascination with communication and technology. I was captivated by the idea of sending and receiving messages over long distances, and amateur radio offered the perfect platform to explore this. It's more than just a hobby; it's a community, a passion, and a constant source of learning and discovery.
EI3011 - My Radio Station

My station is located in the West of Ireland and operates on various HF bands. I use a Yaesu FT-710 with a end-fed 20m wire antenna. You can see photos of my setup below.
